About Mike's bikes

I was always interested in bikes and basically started with my first Harley back in 1982.

This was during University in Åbo, where I therefore met my first real biker friends.

It's been a wild ride ever since.

My first Harley was a modfied Panhead -57 that I bought from my friend Rolle at Hoghaus Oy in Helsinki. It had a custom Shovel block and Panheads, not the best combination, but it worked and I learned a lot. The front end was a slightly elongated Sportster, tank also Sportster and the frame a Paughco.

Hoj original as bought

The current bike when I bought it.

I found a DYNA 2013 on the web for a good price and bought it only slightly modified. I didn't like the paint job, so that was the first to go.

Technically, however, everything was up to snuff and it just worked. 1800 cc of Harley Twin Cam power does not need enhancements..

New Brazil chopper

Today..  Brazilian chopper.

First a paint job, then Apehangers and a solo seat all done at my friend Mauricio's Fazzi Custom by him and his mechanics.

These days my custom provider is Cleiton Customs right here in Itaipu. He is very contentious and he elongated the forks by 4 inches. It didn't need any triple tree work. Let's see in the future. Longer is better.. Back in Sweden I had 20 " over.

Happy times with my father and my son

My old Panhead slowly turned into this Shovel chopper. New motor, new frame, new fork and so on. The original documentation said 1957.

But this is how it happens..

My Swedish chopper

A typical Swedish longfork chopper

After I moved to Sweden and met some new people the bike morphed into a typical Swedish EVO-chopper. 20" inchs over, 3" inch belt drive, custom frame.. The works! And I was happy..
